Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong testing and quality assurance focus to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering technology and business change initiatives. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly and the ability to adapt quickly is essential. They will have a strong background in business analysis within a financial services environment, with particular emphasis on QA disciplines, data validation, and the end-to-end coordination of User Acceptance Testing.
Whilst the candidate will contribute across the broader project lifecycle, the primary focus of this role is ensuring the quality and accuracy of system changes through rigorous functional testing, data reconciliation, and UAT delivery. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience driving testing efforts from test planning and script development through to defect resolution, leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy throughout.
Working Arrangement
This is an offshore role. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with onshore teams, business users, and stakeholders across different time zones, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate strong remote collaboration skills and the ability to deliver effectively in a distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Participate in functional testing across all phases, including system testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support data validation efforts, including data comparison and reconciliation using automated tools and SQL queries.
- Help ensure system changes meet both functional requirements and data accuracy standards prior to deployment.
- Develop and coordinate UAT plans, test scripts, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business users.
- Document test cases, test results, and process flows clearly and consistently, maintaining full traceability from requirements through to sign-off.
- Support business users through UAT execution, issue logging, and defect resolution.
AI-Enabled Productivity
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and delivery quality across the full project lifecycle, including:
- Automated data comparison tools for efficient and accurate data validation.
- Automated testing platforms to streamline functional and regression testing cycles.
SDLC Delivery
- Work closely with project managers, developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle using appropriate tools and methodologies.
