Overview
Focus on Our Environmental Commitment

Aware of the environmental impact of digital activity, Linedata has been committed for several years to an eco-responsible approach.
The realization of a yearly Group carbon footprint assessment helps to identify the main sources of emissions and shape its reduction strategy built around four key areas of action.
Office Management
Linedata has implemented several measures to optimize the management of its offices around the world:
- Office space optimization in line with local remote work agreements.
- Thermal renovation work and selection of eco-efficient buildings
- Optimization of heating, air conditioning, and lighting systems
- Mobility and business travel
Linedata limits and optimizes business travel by focusing on more sustainable transportation solutions and relying on enhanced reporting. Employees are also encouraged to use more environmentally friendly modes of transport for their commute.
Data Hosting
Linedata favors the use of public cloud hosting for both client and internal data, enabling maximum energy efficiency.
Responsible Sourcing
Linedata incorporates CSR criteria into its procurement processes and Partner Code of Conduct. The Charter encourages partners to implement an environmental policy and to conduct their activities with a focus on minimizing environmental impact. Whenever possible, local suppliers are preferred in order to reduce the environmental footprint associated with transportation.
Positive Results
Linedata’s CSR strategy keeps delivering real results. Between 2022 and 2024, the carbon intensity decreased in many areas:
- Carbon intensity related to office energy dropped by 50%
- Carbon intensity from travel decreased by 7%
- Carbon intensity from data hosting was reduced by 12%

Focus on Our Digital Footprint

Aware of the environmental impact of digital technologies, Linedata has embarked on a large-scale project to optimize its digital footprint. The goal was to assess and reduce the environmental impact of its digital tools, both in terms of its website and the internal tools used on a daily basis.
The initiative began with a comprehensive audit of Linedata.com’s digital footprint, with the primary objective of reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions associated with the use of our website. After calculating the website’s EcoIndex, which takes into account elements such as page size and the number of requests needed to load them, Linedata's teams implemented 116 eco-friendly practices applicable to the site. These actions have resulted in a 13% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 25% reduction in water consumption related to energy production.
Thanks to these collective initiatives, Linedata.com’s EcoIndex improved from category F to C in just seven months. Linedata continues to incorporate sustainable and responsible practices across all its digital tools, contributing to environmental preservation while offering a more efficient and faster experience for its users.
Green Mobility Challenge

Linedata launched a Green Mobility Challenge, an internal initiative to encourage employees to choose eco-friendly modes of transportation, such as walking, cycling, carpooling, and public transit.
Over the course of a month, more than 50 teams across the different Linedata offices faced off during this competition.
Beyond the challenge, this project enabled Linedata to:
- Encourage the adoption of sustainable habits
- Reduce its carbon footprint related to mobility
- Strengthen CSR culture within teams
- Build team spirit around a shared environmental goal
Green Boots Initiative in Tunis

For the past six years, around fifty employees from the Linedata Tunis office have gathered every December to take part in the Green Boots initiative, a reforestation project aimed at actively contributing to environmental preservation.
This initiative takes place in regions that have been heavily impacted by deforestation and soil erosion, such as Zaghouan and Bizerte. Reforestation not only helps restore biodiversity, but it also combats climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and preserving water resources. Every tree planted is a tangible contribution to the planet and future generations.
The Green Boots initiative is more than just an annual event; it is a true moment of sharing and collective responsibility. Linedata Tunis is proud to take part in this large-scale operation, which aligns with a sustainable and responsible approach while also strengthening team bonds.
Tree planting initiative in Mumbai

In 2024, the Linedata India CSR Committee organized, in association with the charity UKSS (Uttan Krishi Sanshodhan Sanstha), the plantation of 400 saplings of native species on a 1000 square feet plot using the Miyawaki Technique. This method is known for creating dense, fast-growing forests.
Linedata employees actively took part in planting 400 native plants over an area of approximately 100 square meters near Mumbai.
This initiative highlights Linedata's dedication to environmental sustainability and the preservation of local biodiversity.
