When did you first learn of this incident?
We detected this incident on August 11th.
What services are affected?
The cybersecurity incident affected the production hosting domain for certain parts of its asset management business line. Our ongoing in-depth investigation conducted with the support of a specialized cybersecurity firm has not uncovered evidence that other hosting domains and business lines are affected. Other systems are up and running.
What is Linedata doing about this?
For our clients with identified impact, Linedata has implemented measures to contain the threat, protect data, and inform those affected customers. For our clients with no identified impact, we will continue to monitor and alert them if there are any changes.
The company is actively working to restore its systems fully and is implementing additional measures designed to ensure that normal operations of its hosted clients can resume as quickly and safely as possible.
My services are working fine. Am I affected?
The malicious encryption was limited to a specific production hosting domain within our asset management business line. Other services are still available. We are communicating with all our clients proactively to ensure everyone is aware of the situation.
My services are not working. When will my services be back online?
Our teams are working around the clock to restore services as quickly and safely as possible. We are committed to providing regular progress updates at the top of this page.
How can I be sure this won’t happen again?
We take this incident and the security of our platform very seriously. In conjunction with our restoration efforts, we are taking the opportunity to harden our systems by implementing enhanced security measures and controls. This process is being guided by cybersecurity experts to further strengthen our defenses against future threats.
